Coed Varsity Cross Country · Cross Country Runners Earn MBC 1st Team All-Conference Honors


The Warriors varsity cross country teams competed at the Metro Buckeye Conference Championships on Friday evening, October 12. The race was held on the Elvin King Cross Country Course at Cedarville University. The varsity boys team finished 3rd (just missing runner-up spot by 1 point) and the varsity girls team finished 4th.

Troy Christian won the boys conference title and the Miami Valley School won the girls title.

 

The top seven overall finishers in each race receive 1st Team All-Conference Honors. 2nd Team All-Conference honors goes to the 8th-14th overall place finishers.

In the women’s race, Brooke Tesmer finished 7th overall to receive 1st Team All-Conference Honors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the boys, Nathan Childs and Rhett Bailey finished, 4th and 5th place respectively, for 1st Team All-Conference designation.

The Warriors XC teams compete next at the OHSAA D3 District Championships on Saturday, October 20 at 2:30pm (girls) and 3:10pm (boys) at the Voice of America Metro Park in West Chester Township. The top four teams will advance to the Regional Championships in Troy the following weekend.
