Coed Varsity Swimming · Girls Swimmers Set to Compete at OHSAA Districts


The Lady Warriors will take to the pool at the OHSAA Division II Southwest District Swimming Championships at Miami University today. Madelyn Keenan, Paige Henrich, Kaleigh Redman, and Rebecca Skujins will compete in the 200 Medley Relay. Henrich will swim individually in the 100 breaststroke. The relay team of Skujins, Esther Ross, Keenan, and Henrich will conclude the meet competing in the 400 free relay.

The district championship meet will automatically qualify two from each swimming event to the state championship meet, along with sixteen at large qualifiers that will be selected on the basis of times recorded at the Div. II Southwest district meet.

Mary Carr, was the last DC swimmer to qualify for the state meet in the 50 freestyle, during the 2012 season. Kaley Pook, qualified for state for the Warriors in the 1 meter dive, in 2017.

Warriors Swimming Event Schedule @ Districts (approx.):
~200 Medley Relay – 10:30am.
~100 Breaststroke – 1:45pm.
~400 Free Relay – 2:00pm.

Due to COVID-19, no spectators are allowed at the meet this year.
