The varsity softball team traveled to Athletes in Action tonight to face rival Legacy Christian. The Warriors bats came alive and produced eleven hits in the game, scoring 16 runs, to defeat the LCA Knights, 16-11.

Claire McComas, Maddie Pullen, Cami Garrett, Sarah Lee, and Tarin Buffington all had two hits each in the game. Buffington led the Warriors with five RBI’s in the contest! Sarah Lee pitched a complete seven-inning game, allowing eleven hits, and striking out seven. Pullen led the team with three stolen bases in the contest.

The Warriors ran off with the lead late in the game. The game was tied at nine in the top of the sixth when Maddie Pullen singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. The Warriors tallied five runs in the fifth inning and four more runs in the sixth inning to stretch their lead.

The Warriors (2-5) will host Legacy Christian (1-3) on Thursday night (Senior Night) at 5:00pm. Come out and cheer on these girls! Go Warriors!
