The Dayton Christian Lady Warriors varsity volleyball team posted a four-set loss to the Twin Valley South Panthers on Monday evening.
DC led by as much as seven points in the first but allowed TVS to crawl back into the contest before the score was eventually tied at 18. The teams battled closely throughout the remainder before the Panthers would gain the advantage and close it out 25-23.
The Warriors would once again hold the advantage in the second but were once again unable to hold off Twin Valley South’s late surge to win 25-23.
Dayton Christian would reverse the script in the third by overcoming a late deficit to post a 25-23 win to keep their hopes alive. Twin Valley South, however, took early control of the fourth and built a lead that DC was ultimately unable to overcome, winning 15-25.
The Lady Warriors will look to regroup in their regular-season finale this evening as they travel to face off against Metro Buckeye Conference foe, Emmanuel Christian at 6 pm.
