The Dayton Christian Warriors (9-0 overall, 4-0 conference) scored 11 runs in the second inning as they defeated Middletown Christian in a Metro Buckeye Conference matchup.

Senior Ryan Edgerton started on the mound and allowed 1 unearned run in 3 innings for the win. Edgerton contributed offensively with 3 runs scored and 2 hits including a triple to deep center field in the second inning.

Freshman Isaac Scanlon pitched the final 3 innings striking out 4 in earning his second save of the season. Scanlon also drove in 2 runs with 2 hits at the plate.

Junior Isaiah Bost had 3 hits and 3 RBI, raising his batting average to .609 for the season. Sophomore Justin Lotter also collected 3 hits and 3 RBI with 2 runs scored.

The Warriors next game is on Saturday when they travel to New Miami High School at 12:00 PM. Their next home game is Monday when they host Carlisle High School at 5:00 PM.
