The middle school track team competed at a tri-meet with Oakwood and Brookville last night, April 16. The Warriors placed 3rd on BOTH the boys and girls team scores.
Kelsey Towle led the lady Warriors with a 1st place finish in the 1600m run, 2nd in the 800m run, and 2nd in the 400m dash. Gabe Smith led the Warriors with a 1st place finish in the Long Jump, 3rd in the 100m dash, and 3rd in the 200m dash. Great job!
Other notable performances include:
Evan Thompson won the 400m dash!
Aurora Schubert was 2nd in the 200m hurdles and 2nd in the 200m dash.
Yamiyah Craver was 2nd in the shot put.
Cade Hoppe was 4th in the discus throw and 4th in the 1600m run.
Ethan Withers was 3rd in the 800m run and 5th in the 1600m run.
Boys 4×200 relay was 2nd and the 4×400 relay was 2nd.
Clayton Rohrer was 3rd in the 200m Hurdles.
Meela Seaquist was 2nd in the Long Jump and 4th in the 200m dash.
Brinley Schuler was 6th in the Long Jump.
Esther Ross was 5th in the 100m Hurdles.
Girls 4×200 relay was 2nd and the 4×100 relay was 3rd.
