The Lady Warriors defeated Northridge on the road on Monday night by a score of 53-30. A slow offensive start was mediated by a strong defensive showing that saw the Lady Warriors up 7-2 after the first quarter. The offense got going with a spark off the bench from Isabella Ferriman, who scored 12 of her team high 15 points in the second quarter on 6-6 shooting. The defense continued to hold and the Lady Warriors held a 26-6 advantage going into the break. Starting the third quarter, Northridge made a run, but the Warriors were up to the task holding on to a sixteen point advantage going into the fourth. Timely scoring and free throws down the stretch and good play from the bench allowed for the lead to grow over the final eight minutes and the Lady Warriors get the road win 53-30. The Lady Warriors were led in scoring by Isabella Ferriman (16), Brynn Collins (11), and Kayla Ogburn (10). The Lady Warriors are now 6-3 (2-1) on the season. We are on the road at Carlisle Thursday with tip set at 7:15pm. GO WARRIORS!
