The Middle School Cross Country team ran at the Metro Buckeye Conference XC Championships in Cedarville on Friday night and took 2nd place overall! The boys and girls ran a combined race with Luke Ross leading the way for the Warriors with a 12:42 time for the 2-mile run. Warren Taylor was next with 12:53, followed by Benjamin LaCasse at 13:02 and Caleb Hendricks at 13:54. Amber Prentice was next and first for the girls at 14:10, followed by Ethan Aldridge rounding out the boy’s group at 15:14. Olivia Greer was next for the girls with a time of 16:46 and the team was capped off by Amelie Russell at 21:24.
As an added bonus, AJ Blatz was paced by our Athletic Director, Ben Shroyer after the race and turned in a time of 14:52 for a 2-miler. Great job AJ!
It was a fun season for all, we’re proud of our runners. They showed a lot of heart this year!
