DCS Alumni: Morgan Orme, Receives Athlete of the Week Honors at Taylor University

Dayton Christian Alum, Morgan Orme (2017), received ‘Athlete of the Week’ honors at Taylor University (TU) earlier this month. The junior had two goals and two assists in two matches for the TU women’s soccer team, helping the Trojans to a draw with No. 13 Spring Arbor by dishing out an assist for the final equalizer. Ogburn Sets New School Record in Season Assists

Kayla Ogburn (junior) has broken the girls soccer school record for single season assists. Ogburn recorded her 22nd assist of the season on 10/17/2019 vs. Miami East in an OHSAA SWDAB Sectional Tournament game. The previous school record was held by Kinsey Elliott who had 21 assists in a single season dating back in 1997.

Girls Soccer Hosts Miami East in 2nd Round Tournament Game

The girls varsity soccer team (#4 seed) hosts Miami East (#11 seed) tonight, Oct. 17 at Ron P Memorial Stadium in a second-round OHSAA Southwest District Division III Sectional Tournament Game.
